Dr. Kathrene Tajnert received her undergraduate education at Texas Woman’s University, where she graduated summa cum laude.
She then completed further postgraduate education at the University of North Texas, followed by her medical degree at Texas Tech PLF School of Medical. There, she was elected to the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society.
After an internship at Presence St. Joseph’s Hospital in Chicago, Dr. Tajnert completed her Dermatology Residency at The University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston/MD Anderson Cancer Center. During her final year of residency, she served as the Chief Resident of Academic Education. She has presented at several regional and national meetings, including the Texas Dermatological Society and American Academy of Dermatology annual meetings.
Dr. Tajnert enjoys providing comprehensive dermatologic care to patients of all ages. Clinical interests include acne, psoriasis, eczema, pediatric dermatology, skin cancer early detection, skin cancer treatment, surgical and cosmetic dermatology. Dr. Tajnert is committed to providing the highest quality of care and forming relationships with new patients and families. When not practicing Dermatology, she enjoys spending time with her family. She also stays active with hiking, pilates, yoga and loves traveling the world.
