About Me

Kathrene Tajnert, M.D. is a board-certified dermatologist dedicated to providing compassionate, comprehensive care to patients of all ages.

Dr. Tajnert graduated summa cum laude with her undergraduate degree from Texas Woman’s University. She earned her medical degree from the Texas Tech PLF School of Medicine, where she was inducted into the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. She completed an internship at Presence St. Joseph’s Hospital in Chicago, followed by a Dermatology Residency at The University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston/MD Anderson Cancer Center. During her residency, Dr. Tajnert served as Chief Resident of Academic Education in her final year. Her expertise has been recognized through presentations at both regional and national conferences, including the Texas Dermatological Society and the American Academy of Dermatology annual meetings.

Dr. Tajnert specializes in a wide range of dermatologic services, including the treatment of acne, psoriasis, eczema, pediatric dermatology, skin cancer detection and treatment, surgical dermatology, and cosmetic procedures. She is dedicated to forming meaningful connections with her patients and providing the highest standard of care through a compassionate and tailored approach.

When not in the clinic, Dr. Tajnert enjoys spending time with her family, staying active, and traveling with her husband and daughter.
